Our Approach

Four Pillars of Responsible Sourcing

Sustainability is embedded in every decision we make — from factory selection and material sourcing to production management and logistics.

Ethical Labor Practices

We only partner with factories that uphold fair wages, safe working conditions, reasonable working hours, and zero tolerance for child or forced labor. Every factory undergoes regular social compliance audits.

Environmental Responsibility

Our factory partners invest in water treatment, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and chemical management. We prioritize facilities with ISO 14001 certification and measurable environmental targets.

Circular & Sustainable Materials

We actively source organic cotton, recycled polyester, Tencel, and other sustainable materials. Our factories hold GRS, GOTS, and OCS certifications to verify material claims.

Supply Chain Transparency

Full traceability from raw material to finished product. We provide documentation on factory locations, audit results, and compliance status so your brand can communicate with confidence.

European Union

EU Regulatory Compliance

All products sourced through loomlink meet or exceed European Union regulatory requirements for chemical safety, environmental impact, and corporate sustainability.

EU REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006)

All products sourced through loomlink comply with REACH — the EU's comprehensive regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals. We ensure factories test for restricted substances including AZO dyes, formaldehyde, heavy metals, phthalates, and PFOS/PFOA.

EU Ecolabel (Regulation EC 66/2010)

We work with factories capable of meeting the EU Ecolabel criteria for textile products, covering the full lifecycle from raw material extraction through manufacturing, use, and disposal — ensuring reduced environmental impact.

EU Strategy for Sustainable Textiles

loomlink aligns with the EU's 2022 Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles, supporting due diligence requirements, digital product passports, and the transition toward circular economy practices in our supply chain.

EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDDD)

We support our clients' compliance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive by ensuring supply chain transparency, human rights protections, and environmental safeguards across all partner factories.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (EU-Aligned)

All factory partners maintain OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, testing finished products for over 100 harmful substances at levels stricter than EU and international regulatory requirements.

General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)

Products manufactured through our network comply with the EU's General Product Safety Regulation, ensuring all consumer textile products meet safety requirements before entering the European market.

North America

US & Canadian Regulatory Compliance

Products entering the United States and Canada must meet strict consumer safety, environmental, and labeling regulations. We ensure full compliance across every product category.

CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act)

All children's and consumer textile products sourced through loomlink comply with CPSIA requirements, including lead content limits, phthalate restrictions, and third-party testing by CPSC-accredited laboratories.

California Proposition 65

We ensure products meet Proposition 65 requirements by testing for chemicals known to cause cancer or reproductive harm, including formaldehyde, certain dyes, and heavy metals in textile products.

WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production)

Our factory partners maintain WRAP certification — the world's largest independent factory-based social compliance program, verifying lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing practices.

EPA Environmental Compliance

We partner with factories that comply with US Environmental Protection Agency standards for wastewater discharge, air emissions, and hazardous waste management in textile manufacturing.

AAFA RSL (Restricted Substances List)

All products are tested against the American Apparel & Footwear Association's Restricted Substances List, which covers chemicals regulated across US, Canadian, and international markets.

C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)

Our logistics and supply chain partners participate in the C-TPAT program, ensuring secure and compliant import processes for goods entering the United States and Canada.

FTC Textile Labeling (16 CFR Part 303)

We ensure all textile products comply with FTC labeling requirements, including accurate fiber content identification, country of origin marking, and care labeling per ASTM D5489.

Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA)

Products destined for the Canadian market comply with CCPSA requirements, including the Textile Labelling Act and flammability standards for children's sleepwear and textile products.

Still have questions?

MOQs vary by product category and factory. For most garment types, our standard MOQ ranges from 500 to 1,000 units per style per color. For startups or initial sampling runs, we can negotiate lower quantities with select factory partners, though unit costs may be higher. We recommend discussing your specific needs during a consultation so we can match you with the right production partner.

We implement a multi-point quality assurance process at every stage: incoming raw material inspection, in-line production checks, pre-shipment AQL inspections, and final audit before dispatch. Our on-ground QC teams operate across all seven sourcing countries using standardized checklists aligned with international standards (ISO 2859 / AQL 2.5). We also provide detailed photo and video documentation at each checkpoint.

A standard production cycle runs 60 to 90 days from order confirmation to port of shipment, depending on complexity. This includes fabric sourcing (2-3 weeks), sample approval (1-2 weeks), bulk production (4-6 weeks), and quality inspection plus packing (1 week). Rush orders can be accommodated with select factories at a premium. We provide a detailed production calendar with milestone dates at the start of every order.

We manage the full production lifecycle. This includes fabric sourcing from mills across our network, dyeing and finishing, trim and accessory procurement, pattern development, sample making, bulk production, quality control, and logistics coordination. Whether you come with a tech pack or just a concept sketch, we can take it from there.

All factory partners in our network maintain current certifications relevant to their region and export markets. This includes BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS (for organic), and REACH compliance for EU markets. We also ensure CPSIA compliance for US-bound children's products. During onboarding, we share each factory's certification portfolio and audit history for full transparency.

Absolutely. We support full private label programs including custom pattern development from tech packs or reference samples, branded labels, hang tags, packaging design, and custom trims. Our design support team can also help refine your concepts, suggest fabric alternatives, and optimize patterns for production efficiency — all before committing to bulk manufacturing.
